Das bedeutet, dass nur L – Arginin das Molekül NO produziert, welche die Gefässe aktiviert. Aufgrund der Wirkungen und Erforschung von Stickstoffmonoxid (Sauerstoff) in unserem Körper, wurde 1998 der Nobelpreis für Medizin verliehen.
